-Fishbowl discussion of "The Treasure of Lemon Brown" OR Alternate assignment for incomplete homework
HW: Complete a plot map for "The Treasure of Lemon Brown". Look on SB pg.56 if you need a reminder of how to complete a plot map.
Wednesday
-Review plot structure of Unit 1 short stories by creating plot posters
HW: None
Thursday
-Brainstorming and planning for Embedded Assessment 1-2: Writing a Short Story
-Create a plot map for your original short story
HW: Finish your plot map- be prepared to share during tomorrow's cafe day,
Friday
-Cafe Day! Share/workshop our short story ideas with a small group while enjoying some treats.
-Begin drafting short story
